The new PlayStation 3 introduced this week at Gamescom may be ditching the "Slim" moniker and replacing its predecessor, but when people pick up the new PlayStation 3 this September, they will be getting a comprehensively redesigned console. In addition to the obvious aesthetic overhaul, Sony has completely reworked the blood and guts of the system by revising the entire component infrastructure. Size and Weight

Obviously the new PS3 cuts a sizable chunk weight and size out of the original system's design, Sony says roughly 30 percent in both capacities, but just how much desk space is the new system saving?
